Qigong for Acupuncturists (Camden, London)
April 5 @ 9:45 am – 5:00 pm
This is the first in a range of training that is being offered by the Qigong Academy in conjunction with Total Therapy Training. It is specifically directed toward the needs of acupuncturists and this initial workshop we will be exploring three key areas:
Qigong for Self Care
With such high levels of burnout in the acupuncture community, self care is a hugely important aspect to consider. We will look at the way in which qigong theories and practices can be employed in order to support both your physical and mental wellbeing in the situations that you find yourself in within your work.
Qigong for the Therapeutic Space
Being skillful with qi is undoubtedly one of the core skills that is common to both qigong and acupuncture. Understanding how to utilise the right level of qi for yourself and for your clients helps to ensure effective treatments and sustainable practice.
Qigong for your Clients
Having the ability to share simple qigong exercises with your clients adds to both the value of your interactions and the ongoing effectiveness of your work.
As this is a developmental workshop for the Qigong Academy, we will be using a slightly looser format than usual for the day. Primarily we want to ensure we cover the course content in a way that offers real and tangible benefits to the attendees, however, we will also be looking for feedback and valuable insights that will help us to develop a comprehensive training programme designed to meet your needs.
As we expect there to be mutual benefit, we are offering this workshop at a discounted rate of £65 and, in addition to the discounted rate, should you choose to partake in future ‘Qigong for Acupuncturists’ training with the Qigong Academy, we will deduct the cost of the workshop from future workshops.
