SUMMARY:Basics of Qigong Teaching
DESCRIPTION:Saturday 16th  – 9:30am to 5pm Sunday 17th – 9:30am to 4pm \n\n\n\nOverview \n\n\n\nIf you would either like to include some qigong in your existing health and wellbeing offering\, or you’re interested in training to become a fully accredited Qigong Teacher\, this weekend will give you the basic skills required to share simple qigong techniques and build a solid foundation from which to teach. \n\n\n\nOver the two days we will explore the following: \n\n\n\nForm• 4 basic movements• The concept of mastery• Physical adaptations• Energetic adaptations \n\n\n\nTheory• Balancing Hun and Po• Releasing and Returning• Jing Qi and Shen from a Qigong perspective• Qi\,Space and Information as a guiding principle \n\n\n\nTeaching• Learning Styles• Teaching Methods• Teaching Practice• Integration as a teaching aim• Contraindications and Health and Safety \n\n\n\nOur approach embraces mutual learning and sharing of ideas and experience. It also offers you will have plenty of opportunity to lead practice and build confidence in sharing the techniques.
