SUMMARY:Qigong in the Garden - Revisiting Simplicity
DESCRIPTION:At it’s heart\, qigong is a very simple practice and while studying additional techniques and theories may make us feel that we know more\, the truth is these ‘advanced’ techniques will ultimately reflect the simplicity that resides at the core of the practice. \nIn this one day workshop we will be joined by a wonderful Chinese Teacher\, Yan Cui to explore a range of qigong techniques and practices in order to revisit the simplicity at the heart of the practice. \nTeacher Yan Cui began learning Qigong from her Grandfather in 1989\, and in 1991 she continued her training at what became known as the ‘Medicine-less Hospital’ in China\, where she completed a three month teacher training\, specialising in Qigong for Self Healing. Then in 1994\, she undertook the intensive ‘Two year Teacher Training’ at the Hua Xia Zhineng Qigong Centre\, with Dr Pang Ming\, the Founder of Zhineng Qigong\, and went on to teach other teachers at the Centre. She now lives in Canada with her husband\, who she met on the 2 year training programme in Beijing. \nIf an insightful\, relaxed day of practice and conversation in beautiful surroundings with like-minded folk (with a shared lunch) sound good\, this is for you.

Olivier uses this platform to graphically express how we can find our way in an ever changing world. \n\n\n\nWe’re also delighted to confirm that the noted sound healer\, Katherina Bornefeld will be offering a sound concert during the retreat. While I cannot promise to address all questions\, I will cover as many that I can within the session. \nBody Mind Sessions\nIn February we will continue to bring awareness to different aspects of the Level 2\, Body Mind form of Zhineng Qigong with the intention of deepening our experience of key aspects of this powerful practice. \nThe session is open to anyone as we will be examining both the deeper understanding of the movement and the application that this can have within the rest of your practice as well as your daily life. \nHope to see you there.

SUMMARY:Informal Teachers Weekend - Suffolk
DESCRIPTION:If you’re currently teaching\, studying to teach or considering teaching qigong\, this is for you. \nThis informal\, in person weekend is about honing our teaching skills through peer feedback and support in a safe\, friendly\, informal environment. We have the same format on both days so you can choose to come for one day or two. Saturday or Sunday. If you’re about on Saturday evening\, we will do what we can to organise a bit of a gathering so we can socialise and chat. \nThe cost for the weekend is £75 per day\, but if you are either currently studying to teach with us or have graduated from our programs\, we will drop this to £25 per day (which will help to cover basic costs). \nIf you are considering teaching\, we will offset the difference between the full rate and the student/graduate rate from your course fees should you choose to sign up with us. \nThe format for both days is: \n10:00 am to 11:00 am – Introductions and setting the intention for the day\n11:00 am to 12:30 pm – Small group practice and peer feedback\n12:30pm to 2:00pm – Lunch\n2:00pm to 3:30pm – Small group practice and peer feedback\n3:30pm to 4:00pm – Group feedback and closing \nThere is potential for additional group sessions from 4:00pm if people would like to stay a little longer on the Saturday.
