Weekend Workshop – Body Mind Form
May 3 @ 9:30 am – May 4 @ 4:00 pm
The Weekend Workshops are designed to give people with some experience of Qigong a deeper understanding of the benefits that can be found in the practice. They are small group sessions (typically 10 people) that run over two days, the first day being focussed on technique, the second day focusing into practice.
Overview:
The May weekend will explore the Body Mind form of Zhineng Qigong. This is a powerful system that helps to draw qi deeply into the structures of the body in order to balance the physical, emotional and mental aspects. This workshop will explore details of the form that cannot be explored effectively in the online space in order to better understand the purpose of each movement and the way the movements can be adapted for individual needs.

Who is the workshop for?
The workshop is primarily designed for those with some experience of qigong. Although not necessary, a basic understanding of the form will help to enhance your experience of the day. A good starting point is the Three Monkeys’ Udemy course which you can access using the button below:
For Qigong Practitioners – the first day will really help to enhance the accuracy of your practice in terms of both physical movement and intention, while the second day will give the opportunity to explore how the movements and intentions are adapted to individual needs through practice sessions lead by the qigong teachers who attend the session.
For Qigong Teachers – the first day will explore teaching points and ways in which we can enhance the benefits of the practice while the second day will give you an opportunity to become more actively involved in leading practice and sharing ideas and experiences.
