When I unintentionally discovered Qigong a few years ago, I quickly connected with it in a way that had never happened with other mind-body based practices. Having always had an interest in health and fitness, I loved the simple but hugely effective combination of exercise, mobility, and mindful practices. This left me wanting to learn more and share my experiences with others, particularly those who, like me, are less likely to come across Qigong in daily life, and if they do so are, perhaps, likely to be a little skeptical!  I went looking for instructor courses, came across John and the Qiong Academy and, as they say, the rest is history……

With over 25 years’ experience in clinical care, clinical trials and research I also have a special interest in building on the existing evidence base for Qigong. I believe this hugely accessible practice has a key part to play in supporting and improving population health and wellbeing.

I’m proud to be part of the Qigong Academy team and delighted to be supporting the growth of the Qigong instructor community both here in the UK and internationally.
