Qigong for Parkinsons

Qigong for Parkinsons

In this course we will explore some of the guiding Qigong principles that are relevant and accessible to people who have a Parkinson’s diagnosis.

These principles are then applied in two main areas of practice:

  • Qigong for Physical Wellbeing

  • Qigong for Mental Wellbeing

The practices in this programme are designed to be accessible and relevant to anyone with a Parkinson’s diagnosis and are drawn from many years working with groups of people effected by Parkinson’s.

This collaboration between CalmHealthyHappy.org and QigongAcademy.org has been made possible thanks to the support of the following organisations:

  • Suffolk Yoga (https://www.suffolkyoga.co.uk)

Taiji Ball and Dragon Dao Yin

Taiji Ball and Dragon Dao Yin

One of the oldest and most common influences on modern Qigong is the movements of the Dragon forms. Over the millennia they have taken many forms and evolved in many ways and it would take a lifetime to explore and learn all of the variations.

This pre-recorded, online course gives you the opportunity to explore the origins, and the deeper meaning of the Zhineng Qigong form known as Taiji Ball at your own pace.

Lift Qi Up Pour Qi Down

Lift Qi Up Pour Qi Down

Qigong should not be about replication of movement, it should be about exploring and understanding the benefits of the movements and ideas in order to address our needs and help us move forward.

In this course we aim to do that with the primary practice of Zhineng Qigong, Lift Qi Up Pour Qi Down.

This course offers almost 4 hours of content which includes:

  • Over 2 hours of Instruction

  • 5 practice sets of around 20 minutes each.

  • Supporting downloadable information in both pdf and audio format.
